LETTERBOX DROPS ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA

Australia Post Unaddressed Mail is a national service, so a letterbox campaign is not limited by where your printer happens to be. We book drops to any postcode in the country, from one suburb to a multi-state roll out, and it all comes back as one quote and one invoice.

How a national drop works

You tell us the suburbs, the postcodes or just the catchment you are after. We pull the Australia Post delivery point counts for those localities, confirm how many letterboxes accept advertising material, and quote print and delivery as one number.

From there it is the same job whether the flyer is going to one street in Caloundra or to forty suburbs across three states. We print, bundle to Australia Post specification, lodge the campaign for your nominated delivery week, and posties deliver it with the regular mail.

The part that trips people up on a national campaign is weight. Australia Post prices per article by size and weight band, and going one gram over a band on 50,000 flyers is an expensive mistake. Because we print the job as well, we pick a stock that keeps you inside the band you are paying for.

Interstate costs more, and here is why

Australia Post charges a lower rate for delivery within the state the campaign is lodged in, and a higher one for interstate. It is not a huge gap on a small letter, but on volume it matters. If you are running the same flyer in Brisbane and Perth, we will tell you whether lodging separately or printing locally works out cheaper, rather than quietly charging you the higher rate for everything.

What it costs

Delivery starts at 47.6c per letterbox including GST for a small letter under 50 grams within Queensland, with printing quoted on top. Interstate and heavier or larger items step up from there. Delivery-only jobs carry a minimum charge of $250, waived when we print the flyer as well. Every campaign is quoted on the real rate for your article and destination before anything is lodged.

Frequently asked

Can you deliver flyers outside the Sunshine Coast? Yes. Australia Post Unaddressed Mail is a national service, so we book drops to any postcode in Australia. We are based on the Sunshine Coast, but the lodgement and delivery happen through Australia Post wherever the campaign is going.

How is delivery priced outside my state? Australia Post charges more per article for interstate delivery than for same state. A small letter under 50 grams is the cheapest band either way. We quote the exact rate for your article size, weight and destination before anything is booked, so there is no interstate surprise on the invoice.

Do you print the flyers or do I supply them? Either. We print and deliver as one job, which is usually cheaper and avoids weight band mistakes, or you send printed stock and we handle the lodgement. Delivery-only jobs carry a minimum charge of $250, waived when we print as well.

Can I run one campaign across several cities? Yes. One booking, one quote and one invoice covers as many localities as you want, in as many states as you want. You nominate the delivery week and the whole campaign lands in the same week.

How do I know the letterbox numbers are right? Quantities come from Australia Post delivery point data, which counts only the letterboxes that accept unaddressed advertising material. Addresses marked no junk mail are already excluded, so you are never charged for them.

Sunshine Coast letterbox drops

Where people send them

Australia Post reaches all of it. What changes city to city is density, building type and how much a letterbox is worth to you.

BrisbaneInner suburbs are apartment heavy and the growth corridors out to Ipswich, Logan and Moreton Bay change street by street.
Gold CoastHigh rise along the coastal strip, sprawling family estates behind it. Two very different audiences in one postcode range.
SydneyDense, expensive and gated. The one market where getting inside a building is most of the battle.
MelbourneLarge established suburbs with high letterbox density, so cost per household is usually the lowest of the capitals.
PerthSpread out, car dependent and a long way from anywhere. Freight the flyers or print locally, and we will tell you which is cheaper.
AdelaideCompact and well defined by locality, which makes it one of the easiest capitals to target precisely.
CanberraPlanned suburbs and clean locality boundaries. Good for testing a message before a national roll out.
Hobart & DarwinSmall enough to cover a whole city for the price of a few suburbs elsewhere.
Regional QueenslandToowoomba, Gympie, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Cairns and Townsville. Roadside boxes that walker networks do not service at all.
