SCREEN PRINTING SUNSHINE COAST

Screen printing is the best value way to put a design on a big run of tees or hoodies. Ink is pushed through a fine mesh screen, one colour at a time, and it gives the softest feel of any print method. We screen print for Sunshine Coast businesses, events, churches and clubs, and you can see every garment price online first.

When screen printing is the right choice

Bigger runs

Each colour in your design needs its own screen. That setup is the same whether you print 25 shirts or 500. So the more you print, the cheaper each shirt becomes.

Simple, bold designs

One and two colour designs are where screen print is hard to beat on price. Large solid areas of colour also print beautifully, with a soft feel on the shirt.

Events, merch and staff tees

Fun runs, festivals, church events, school leavers and staff shirts all suit screen print when everyone gets the same design.

When we suggest something else

Small runs

If you only need 10 or 15 shirts, the screen setup makes each one dear. DTF has no screens, so it usually wins on a small run. See our DTF printing page.

Full colour or photo artwork

A photo or a design with gradients would need many screens. DTF prints full colour in one pass, so it is the better tool for that artwork.

Names and numbers

Every name change would need a new screen. For personalised team shirts we use DTF for the names and numbers, and can screen print the main design.

A uniform look

For polos and business shirts that need to look like a uniform, embroidery is usually the better finish. See our logo embroidery page.

How ordering works

Tell us what you need

Pick the garments below and send them through, or just describe the job. Headcount, rough sizes, how many logo positions and your deadline are enough to start.

We quote it properly

We price the garment, the decoration and the freight to your address as one number, and we confirm the real minimum order and lead time for your job rather than a general one.

Approve your mockup

You get a visual showing your logo in position and at actual size on the garment you chose. Nothing is stitched or pressed until you approve it.

We produce and deliver

As a guide, ten to fifteen business days from artwork approval, plus freight. The clock starts at approval, not at order, and supplier stock is the usual cause of a delay.

Local to the Sunshine Coast

We work with businesses, clubs and churches right across the Sunshine Coast: Caloundra, Baringa and Aura, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Buderim, Sippy Downs, Nambour, Coolum, Noosa, Beerwah and the hinterland. We deliver Caloundra orders ourselves. Most other orders go by courier, and we send Australia wide. We are Sunshine Coast owned, and we meet customers face to face when a job needs it.

Not sure which method suits your design? Send it to us. We will tell you which method we would pick and why, before you pay anything.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order for screen printing?

As a guide, around 20 to 25 garments per design per colour. Below that, DTF is usually better value. We confirm the real minimum for your job on the quote.

How much does screen printing cost?

It depends on the number of colours, the number of print positions and how many garments you need. The garment price is shown on our website. Send us the design and quantity and we will price the print on top.

Can you print on hoodies and tote bags?

Yes. Screen print works on cotton and cotton rich hoodies, crew jumpers, singlets and canvas tote bags. Tell us the garment and we will confirm it suits.

What artwork do you need?

A vector file is best, such as AI, EPS or PDF with the fonts outlined. Tell us your colours as Pantone references if you have them. If you only have a JPG or PNG, send it anyway and we will check it.

How long does screen printing take?

As a guide, 10 to 15 business days from when you approve the artwork, plus freight. If you have an event date, tell us when you ask for a quote.

Do I see a proof first?

Yes. You get a mockup with your design in position and at actual size on the garment. Nothing is printed until you approve it.

Ready to kit out the team?

Send us the headcount, the garments you like and your deadline. We will come back with a real number, including freight to your address.
